As you know, my favourite thing to experiment with is eye makeup. I just find that there are so many variations to try that not one day has to be the same!
Since I have so many eyeshadows, I have been using them up on a rota; I'll normally have 3 palettes or a couple of loose shades, and use them for two months before switching again. Throughout August and September I have been using my three MAC Palettes. And thank goodness; some of them are now showing dips!
I have been wanting to do a to 10 MAC eyeshadows (okay, 11 in this case) post for quite a while, and finally got round to it. For each shade I have swatched each shade all over my lid. Seemed a good idea at the time!
No 1: Satin Taupe
No 2: Jest
No 3: Saddle (Middle Far Right)
No 4: Tilt
No 5: Amber Lights
This is a lovely shade on its own, or can be used wet for an eyeliner. If you want something a bit different, use this with a green-blue shade called Steamy and a tiny bit of Espresso in the Outer Corner and you have a gorgeous colourful smokey eye.
No 6: Quarry
No 7: Sumptuous Olive
No 8: Woodwinked
No 9: Coppering
I have worn this as an all over shade colour, but where it really shines is as an outer eye colour with Jest. It adds enough of a pop to the eye without looking over the top.
No 10: Star Violet
No 11: Antiqued
Bye for now!
