What can I say, I love the stuff, and I love the new limited edition collection they brought out a few weeks ago. Apart from the lip liner, I now have the whole collection. The colours are just so soft and so beautiful, but can be built up if you do prefer a deeper bit of colour than I prefer.
This post has come from the fact that I wore the collection today whilst out shopping and I got a lot of compliments from Beauty Therapists and even people out shopping. A few asked what brand they were, so I thought if people liked the make up that much I would do a quick routine post showing how I use the collection. LoveShelby did a review and eye make up tutorial about two weeks ago, and I will leave a link to her video below. She does work for Bare Minerals so is a great guide for all the products that Bare Minerals do, and offers help if you're unsure on shades or how to apply the make up if you're new to it. Her videos helped me out loads when I first started using the make up.
Anyway here's my True Romantics Collection Routine/ Tutorial. This is mainly going to be photos rather than a lengthy worded tutorial just because of it's similarity to my Bare Minerals routine a few weeks ago.
Bare Minerals Ready SPF20 in shade 330.
Buffer into the skin with the precision face brush.
Bare Minerals powder concealer in Summer Bisque.
Apply using Real Techniques setting brush to wherever needs a bit more coverage.
Bare Minerals Warmth.
Buffer into the hollow just under your cheeks with the Flawless face brush. I find it's just a nice size for contouring, although I may have used a tad too much warmth on my right side.
With the remainder of the warmth on the brush, make 2 symmetrical 3's on the sides of your face to add a subtle bit of colour.
True Romance Collection Blush in Swoon.
This can turn a deep coral if you use a lot of the minerals. I tapped a small amount into the lid to create a light flush on my cheeks. I applied this using my Eco Tools blush brush.
Use the Head over Heels shade with any eyebrow brush and apply a soft amount to your eyebrows.
True Romance, The True Romantic Palette Woo is Me Shade.
Apply all over the lid.
Go over the Woo is Me with the shade Louder. It's a gorgeous coppery gold. Leave a tiny bit of the lighter shade free in your inner corner.
Next use Head over heels again in the outer corner and blend so that it looks less harsh. If it looks uneven, like my right eye, don't worry, I'll show you how to fix that in a bit.
Use Love it to blend them all together and apply over the brow bone.
Eyeliner Lasting Liner in Endless Charcoal.
Mascara Lash Domination
True Romance Feel the Love.
True Romance Moxie shade in Heartbreaker.
Okay, that tip I mentioned to help if one side of your shadow is darker, use a tiny bit of the Bare Minerals original primer on the concealer brush and sweep over the darker side. This will pick up any spare pigments but leave the majority of the colour, and it will look even.
And that's the look done. I may get the liner on pay day, although I don't normally use lip liners. Would be a shame to separate the collection though...
Thanks again for reading guys.
Love you all!
